My experience includes approximately three years providing hospice care support in Saudi Arabia, where I assisted clients with personal care, daily living activities, companionship, comfort support, and maintaining dignity and quality of life. This experience taught me patience, empathy, responsibility, and the importance of providing care with respect and compassion.
After returning to Kenya, I continued working in elderly care and caregiving roles, supporting senior clients with grooming, personal hygiene, mobility assistance, companionship, meal assistance, daily routines, and general wellbeing. Working with older adults has strengthened my ability to build trust, communicate effectively, and provide attentive person-centered care.
I am currently pursuing Healthcare Assistant (HCA) training at Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC), where I am expanding my healthcare knowledge and practical caregiving skills. My goal is to continue developing professionally while making a positive difference in the lives of the people I support.
I am interested in opportunities as an Au Pair, Caregiver, Elderly Companion, Family Support Assistant, or Live-in Caregiver. In addition to childcare, I am comfortable supporting elderly family members, assisting with household routines, preparing simple meals, providing companionship, and helping create a safe and welcoming home environment.
