I am Grace, a Kenyan by nationality,21 years of age, passionate ,warm,loving and kind young woman,with an open heart inclined towards children and young adults. My motivation comes from the fact that, professionally I am trained in the medical field,and have volunteered in hospitals before in different departments including the paediatric department, hence have experience working with children of all ages. In addition my elder sister has three kids,a ten, a four and a two year old. I have been helping her take care of them while she is at work. We cook, play, bath and clothe them, study, do homework together as well as evening walks around the neighborhood. The interactions helps me understand their moods when sad ,happy,when not interested and also when sick,and when hungry. It has taught me to be motherly to them in a way and it makes me happy. I have learnt how to be calm when dealing with all their reactions,and also to be quickly responsive,by hugging or cuddling when they really need it. Au pairing is an amazing opportunity to learn new cultures,and interact with nationalities different from what am used to. Would you be my host family?
