Hello my name is Joy I am 19 years old.I love children and have a passion for working with them.I've had the opportunity to gain valuable childcare experience through babysitting. I'm currently pursuing a degree in counseling psychology and I'm a certified basic first aider.
During my free time I enjoy reading, writing,music, traveling and exploring new cultures. I enjoy doing outdoor activities with children and I believe in engaging children in creative and educational activities whether it's through arts and crafts, music or imaginative play.I'm fluent in English and Swahili and also very open and interested in learning new languages.
My practical experience with children has equipped me with the patience and necessary skills to handle various aspects of childcare like meal preparation and providing a safe and nurturing environment. I am also comfortable with light housekeeping duties, caring for pets and shopping and running errands.
One of the aspects I find most rewarding about being an au pair is the opportunity for cultural exchange. I'm eager to learn about your customs and traditions and also excited to share my own experiences and background. I am an adaptable, responsible, warm, kind, friendly and caring person and have a genuine interest in forming a meaningful connection with you and your family.
