Dear family, my name is Ray. I'm a 24 year old Kenyan. I currently reside in Kisumu town, Kenya's third largest city.I have recently graduated from university with a Bachelors Degree in Finance. I speak English, Swahili and basic German.

I am a kind, loving, caring, trustworthy, reliable and empathetic individual.

During my free time I read novels, seek more knowledge, hangout with friends, bake, play basketball anf netball and travel. I have visited a lot of places in my country. I really enjoy travelling.

I come from a family consisting of my dad, mum, 1 brother and a younger sister. My younger sister refers to me as her "deputy mum". We live as an extended family. I have a lot of cousins, uncles and aunts.
I have helped taking care of my younger cousins as well as nephews and nieces. I know how to babysit, feed, play with kids, bathe, clothe, change diapers, solve conflicts that may arise between kids and assist them with homework. I love kids. There's so much joy when you teach them something new and you see them doing it independently. It satisfies something in me.

I could call myself a natural when it comes to matters with kids. We tend to get along very fast. I've taken care of my 3 year old nephew since he was born upto now that he's 3. He's special as he is asthmatic and the mum would trust me to babysit him. I know how to handle him when an attack occurs, how to administer his drugs. I have taken him severally to the hospital when it becomes persistent.I also escorted the parents on his vaccination appointments. He recently joined playgroup and I drop and pick him up on some days.

Aupair involves kids and travelling to a whole new place. This is doing 2 of the most important things that I love. This would be a win win for me.

I already have a passport with me and have scheduled an embassy appointment. My visa approval would take atleast 3 weeks.

I'm looking forward to some positive feedback in regards to being an aupair. I believe that I have what is required to render the services without any hindrances.
