Dear host family,
My name is Esther, but my friends and family call me Nyambu. I am a 26 years old girl and I live in Kisii, a small town in Kenya, a beautiful country in Africa.
I am an open-minded, hard-working, easy-going, dedicated, trustworthy, helpful, patient, and responsible person. I love taking care of kids and their health, safety, and happiness are the most important to me.

I come from an extended family of 12, my mother being the 10th born. My family all live within the same locality. our family is made up of 8 members, I being the second born. My parents are teachers so that motivated me to be a teacher too. I was moulded in a Christianly and friendship manner since childhood.

I graduated from Kenyatta University, with a Bachelor of Arts in English and literature, I recently took on a course in Elderly Care Assistance and also a certificate in Advanced Au pair and Night Nursing Course Alongside First Aid course from Chilton Au pair and training in South Africa. I love traveling, socializing, trying different cultures, and very adventurous. I know how to handle situations and also in problem solving.

I would describe my strength as an Au pair as the ability to bond really well with kids since all my life I have been bounded to children of all walks of life and also blending in very easily and as a result being able to be their mentor in different aspects of life and also be like their big sister to my siblings, also the ability to learn from my mistakes. On the other hand, I would describe my weakness as an Au pair is that I have a hard time letting go of something or someone because I get too attached to children especially and hence becomes emotionally hard to detach from them
I am searching for a host family, that would be happy to have me as part of the family, be kind, welcoming and who are willing to learn new culture and language. I am looking for a long time stay with my host family, for one 1year or more depending on the connection formed with the family.
