Hello lovely families,

I’m Romey, I’m 24 and I am from Manchester in the UK. I am Mixed English, Irish, Indian & Ukrainian! I do have both a British & Irish passport so I have the right to work in the EU too. I love love love travelling and exploring the world and have lived in 3 countries other than my own: Ayia Napa, Cyprus for 2 months, Paris, France for 5 months and Bali, Indonesia for 6 months! I am definitely well travelled for my age and have travelled to the following: USA, Australia, France, Belgium, Switzerland, Germany, Czech, Italy, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Tunisia, Vietnam, Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia and The Maldives! & I’m hoping to travel to a lot more :)

I don’t have experience as an Au Pair as per say, but I have taught English in Vietnam in a language school. I taught ages 3-25 and loved it! I also volunteer at the school where my mum is a headteacher & have helped out in classes since I was around 16. I would love to get the chance to live abroad again and enjoy the culture & language exchange.

My 3 best friends include: my boyfriend, my mum and my cat haha! My 3 favourite beings for sure. Because of this, I believe my au pairing abroad would be maximum 6ish months as I would just miss them too much. I would love to find something where I can still fly home every now and then. I may also get the occasional modelling job where I would need to fly somewhere for a few days. I do also work as a freelance casting assistant so sometimes I will get work for like 2 or 3 weeks and then nothing for like a month or so. This is work from home so I am able to do it from any country and would still be able to work it around my duties. I do also study massage therapy but I have finished all my practicals now and only have theory left but it’s at my own pace so again, I can work around this. But the host would need to be aware about all this before I come!

I love spending time with my boyfriend and snugging up watching series with our cookie dough and milkshakes. This is my safe place, where I feel most comfortable :) I also like to go to the gym and do yoga & Pilates -sometimes at home or sometimes classes. I have always had creative hands and I enjoy to bake cookies and cakes, paint, do embroidery & braid my boyfriend’s hair into different cornrow patterns. I am also a model so I love doing creative shoots alongside my paid work. I love to travel & experience new things. I love languages (though I can only speak a bit of French) but dialects and languages are so interesting to me. The list could go on but most of all I like to spend time with my loved ones and friends.

I am an empathetic, caring, creative, open minded and bubbly person and I would love to be hosted by a family whose values and goals align with mine!
