Dear family,
I am looking for a warm-hearted family that treats me like a member of the group.
I am a trained and registered nurse from Germany. I have several years of experience in nursing children (mainly new born babies, premature born babies and disabled children) and I am a certified breast feeding and lactation consultant.
Before becoming a nurse I was an au pair twice.
In 2007 I lived with a family in Ireland for 5 months. They had 4 children age 4-10.
In 2009 I was an au pair in England. I stayed for 10 months with a single father and his 2 children. As the father worked in a 3-shift-system ist was my responsibility to take care of the children when he was at work.
During the last 3 years I studied nutrition and dietetics. Now that I am waiting for my final results I have time for another gap year. I would like to spend my gap year as a nanny in France. Unfortunately my french got a bit rusty. So I will need to go to french classes during my stay.
I always wanted to live in France to get to know the french people and their way of living and their culture.
I decided to go to english speaking countries for my first two Au-pair stays as my stepdad is from South Africa.
In my spare time I love to be outdoors (sailing, kayaking, SUP, biking, hiking…), catch up with my friends, meet new people and travel. I am open-minded and I like to try new things.
