Hi I'm Joan! I have recently moved to Berlin from Sydney, Australia with the hopes of exploring a new city, meeting new people and immersing myself in German culture. I am very friendly and relational and find value in dedicating my time to others. I have lots of experience working with children and adults inclusive of disabilities and special care needs as a previous Disability Support Worker and Social Worker. I have experience in assistant roles having previously worked as an Executive Assistant for the CEO of an Australian based organisation. I have and love my beautiful Labrador back home, therefore also have experience with caring for fur-babies. I have a Honours Bachelor degree in Social Work and am passionate for social justice issues and have a strong understanding for caring for others and my surrounding environment. As someone who is very far from home, I would love to get to know you and your family and to feel at home with my care family.
