Hello families! My name is Lindsay and I am 32 years old. I am planning ahead for a move in early June of 2024. I plan to relocate to New York City, but am open to working overseas as an Au Pair for June 2024-August 2024. I am a certified elementary teacher in grades K-6, and have been teaching for 10 years. Before graduating college, I worked in an infant room in a daycare for 4 years. I have been baby-sitting for local families since I was 15 years old, and still baby-sit often for an agency where I live, as well as for local families I have been working for over the span of many years. I am very experienced with newborns and infants, toddlers, as well as all elementary school aged children. I am very engaging, and always looking for opportunities to let little ones explore the world around them and have new, fun, engaging, and educational experiences. I am very open minded and accommodating, so I am happy to work with families of all kinds of dynamics. I am CPR and lifeguard trained (I worked as a life guard for 3 years). I also have received many trainings related to the safety of many realms for children. I do not mind doing laundry, light housekeeping, or taking children to activities. I am nearing completion of becoming a National Certified Teacher. I love teaching, but my heart has always yearned to become a part of a family and help raise a child/ children.
