Dear Host Family,

My name is Lyka, and I am 24 years old from the Philippines. I am single and a Senior High School graduate. I am excited about the opportunity to become part of your family and share a little about myself, my experience, and my personality.

Since February 3, 2023, I have been working as an all-around housemaid and childcare provider. In my current position, I care for an energetic 8-year-old, a curious 6-year-old, and an active 2-year-old toddler. Preparing snacks and lunch boxes, organizing their school uniforms, helping with personal hygiene, supervising their activities, and spending quality time with them through play, educational activities, and outdoor outings.

In addition to childcare, I am responsible for various household tasks such as vacuuming, mopping, sweeping floors, dusting furniture, cleaning bathrooms, washing, drying, and ironing clothes, changing bed linens, washing dishes, grocery shopping, watering indoor plants and keeping the home clean, organized, and comfortable for the family.

Some dishes I can make include Pesto Pasta, Adobo, Sinigang, Pancit, Menudo, Spareribs in Sauce, Tortang Talong, Pancit Molo, Chicken Teriyaki, Chicken Biryani, and Samosa. For desserts and snacks, I can make Leche Flan, Biko, and Pancakes. I also know how to bake Banana Bread and make Siopao.

As a person, I am responsible and hardworking. I always prioritize my tasks efficiently to ensure that everything is completed on time. I respect house rules, privacy, and personal belongings, and I always strive to be trustworthy and dependable. I am flexible and able to adapt to different family routines, schedules, and unexpected situations. I like taking initiative whenever help is needed.

I want to be an au pair in Europe because I love working with children and would like to experience a new culture firsthand. Create meaningful connections with a host family and create wonderful memories together while contributing positively to your family's daily life and helping with childcare and household tasks.

The games and activities I would like to do with children include dough play, dress-up and role play, doll and character play, building with blocks, music, dancing, singing, playing the board game snakes and ladders, and hide-and-seek.
