Dear Host Family,

Hello! My name is Balqis, and I am a 19-year-old young woman from Lampung, Indonesia. I recently graduated from vocational high school with a major in Software Engineering, and I am very excited about the opportunity to become an au pair in Germany.

I come from a humble family and have learned from a young age the importance of responsibility, hard work, and helping others. These values have shaped who I am today and motivated me to seek new experiences that will help me grow both personally and professionally.

I enjoy spending time with children and have experience caring for my younger cousin as well as children in my neighborhood. I helped them with daily activities, played games, told stories, and made sure they felt comfortable and safe. Through these experiences, I learned patience, creativity, and how important it is to listen to and understand children's needs.

In addition to childcare experience, I completed internships at a university academic office and a government institution. These experiences taught me discipline, organization, and professional communication. I also help manage a small family shop, which has strengthened my independence, responsibility, and problem-solving skills.

I enjoy reading, listening to music, creating digital art, and learning about different cultures and languages. I am currently improving my English and learning basic German because I believe language is a wonderful bridge between people from different backgrounds.

Becoming an au pair is more than just traveling abroad for me. It is an opportunity to become part of a new family, learn about German culture firsthand, share my own culture, and build meaningful relationships. I am eager to contribute to your family's daily life, help care for your children, and create a positive and supportive environment.

I would describe myself as caring, open-minded, adaptable, and eager to learn. I am ready to embrace new experiences, challenges, and responsibilities with a positive attitude.
