My name is Gabriella, and I come from Kenya. I am a warm-hearted, responsible, caring and fun person who truly enjoys spending time with children. I would love to become part of your family as an au pair, not only to support you in daily life but also to share cultures and build a meaningful connection.
I have a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology, and during my internship in a hospital, I worked as a social worker with a focus on supporting and caring for children. This work experience helped me develop strong skills in patience, empathy, and understanding children's emotional needs.
Additionally, growing up in an extended family, I have always been surrounded by children. I regularly took care of my younger siblings and cousins, which helped me become responsible, creative, and comfortable in handling different age groups. I truly enjoy playing with children, helping them learn, and creating a safe and happy environment for them.
On a personal level, I was raised by my grandparents, which taught me the importance of family, responsibility, and care from a young age. After my University studies, I also helped take care of my grandfather who suffered from Alzheimer’s disease until he sadly passed away last year. Through this experience, I learned to be patient, attentive, and compassionate. I still help care for my grandmother by supporting her with daily tasks around the house.
I speak good English and a little bit of German language and my goal as an Au Pair is to become a reliable support for your family while learning more about your culture and improving my German language skills. I am currently at B1 German- Level and I am highly motivated to improve every day.
In my free time, I enjoy activities such as traveling, hiking, riding a bicycle, spending time outdoors, and reading Novels. I am an open-minded and respectful person, and I value honesty, communication, and kindness.
