Hi Parents! ? I'm Karen, an experienced and enthusiastic nanny and I'm looking for a live-in position starting this June. I'm open to relocating anywhere to join a family seeking a long-term nanny. I'm all about making life easier for you, whether it's planning fun and engaging summer activities for the kids, keeping you updated on their appointments and extracurriculars, or handling grocery shopping and other errands. I can also help with children’s laundry, dishes, meal preparation, bathing, and bedtime routines.
I have a wealth of experience working with children, starting when I was 14. I began babysitting for family friends, and over time, I expanded to caring for children of local families, as well as those who visited during the summer.
One of my most rewarding experiences was working as a camp counselor at Pathfinder Day Camp in Montauk, New York. It was a 4-12 summer camp where I planned and led daily activities such as archery, swimming, fishing, baseball games, and kickball tournaments. My priority was to create a safe and engaging environment where kids could have fun and participate fully. I also babysat many of the campers from Pathfinder throughout the summer, which allowed me to form fun and meaningful connections with them. These experiences have equipped me with valuable skills in childcare, activity planning, and fostering positive relationships with children of all ages. .
I'm fluent in both Spanish and English, and I love to bring a warm, supportive, and fun energy to every interaction. In my free time, I enjoy reading, baking, and staying active with gym workouts, hiking, and swimming. I'm also super interested in healthcare and always eager to learn new things!
