Au Pair's Message to Families

Hello, My name is Evie and I am Greek-Canadian-American. My mom is from Canada, she was born and grew up in Hamilton, Ontario and moved to New York when she was 15. My dad is Greek but he grew up in New York from the age of two. I was born and raised in Greece but I have 3 different nationalities. This means that I will not need a visa for the US or Canada because I am a citizen of both countries. Currently I am studying childcare in the University of Athens. I have finished a child phycology class and I now work as an English teacher in our local English school, as well as in our local preschool. I love taking care of children. For some reason, I've loved beby sitting all my life. Even when I was a child myself! I have been an au pair 3 times before and I loved the experience. I was very lucky and met some amazing families. I am hoping to find a family who will consider me as an extended member of it. I would not want to feel like "just an emploee" and I would certainly not consider the kids I take care of as a "job".
