We are a warm, busy family in a new home (currently settling in) looking for a compassionate and calm companion/carer for Linda, an elderly family member living with us. This is a direct hire position.

Companionship and emotional support (no formal experience required, but a naturally warm and patient manner is essential): spending quality time with Linda, conversation, watching TV together, accompanying her on gentle walks or outings.

Practical daily support (some experience preferred): helping Linda with personal care if needed, medication reminders, meal preparation or sitting with her at mealtimes, light tidying of her personal space.

Household support (experience helpful but not essential): assisting during a settling-in period as we establish routines in a new property, being flexible and unflappable in a lively family environment.

Key qualities we are looking for: patience, reliability, a calm and cheerful disposition, discretion, and the ability to work independently within a busy household. Experience with elderly or companion care preferred. Must be comfortable around pets and family life.
