I am looking for a kind and caring intern caregiver for my mom who is 60. She has been diagnosed with cortico-basal syndrome, a disease that affects her brain and in time shuts down her neural connections. At the moment she is conscious and fine, but started losing mobility and strength, meaning she needs someone to support her in cooking for her, cleaning and keeping her some company. If the caregiver can do some kinetotherapy exercises with her it would be great.

The house is new and fully equipped with everything, even a dish washer. Cleaning won't require too much effort, my mom lives alone. We do have 3 cats, which imply cleaning the litter tray twice a day, morning and evening, and mainly cleaning for their hair (vacuuming and using lint rollers to keep it as hair free as possible).

We would also want the caregiver to accompany her to doctor visits and keep us updated on what happens, make sure she follows her schedule for medication, and maybe occasionally do some grocery shopping, but mainly we will take care of it.

Since my mom's condition will deteriorate in time, we are looking for someone long term 1-3 years (because her life span at this point is questionable). We live in a nice community and have a house with a yard, life will be nice for whoever decides to come as an intern.
