The lady in question is 86 years old. She's very loved and a wonderful, very nice and loving lady. Her grandchildren live in Sofia and her daughter lives in the United States. The daughter is the employer and will be interviewing the caregivers in person.

The position requires the person to live in the apartment with my mother. You will have your own room with a heater and will share a bathroom and kitchen with my mother. Your room has a twin bed and a cupboard, desk and chair that will be yours to use.

My mother has several cats, so the person must love pets, and must be comfortable changing kitty litters and feeding the cats.

My mother has always been very independent. Until recently, she was cleaning the floors every day and even washing the windows. She has just gone through one or several strokes and is likely to recover.

She needs:
- Assistance walking to the bathroom and back
- (In emergency, but may be possible in the future) - changing diapers
- Bathing / showering
- Running the laundry machine and drying the clothes on the clothes line
- Assistance walking around
- Cooking meals
- She eats on her own, but you will need to give her the food on the table in front of her bed
- Picking up the phone
- Talking with mom (her brain is really sharp and she's funny and a lovely human being. She has lots of friends and lots of people love and care for her).
- Watering the plants (my mom has lots of plants)
- Vacuuming the apartment weekly and cleaning the bathroom and kitchen regularly
- Must love pets, especially cats: they're my mom's companions.
- Must be a cheerful and nice person with a kind heart

There is a very nice neighbor who used to take care of mom while she was mobile. She's very honest and lovely Christian woman. She can provide assistants with groceries, and other errands for mom. She and her husband have a car.

I (the daughter living in the US) will be visiting several times per year.

I'd love to interview the person in late January, early February 2024 to start in mid-February 2024.

The salary will be very good and commensurate with the qualifications of the person - especially if you have medical or nursing training.
