GranAupair / Companion Carer Wanted – Lovely Home Environment
We are looking for a kind, patient, and reliable GranAupair / companion carer to support our parents in their home.
Both parents are largely independent and do not require nursing care. The role is focused on companionship, light assistance, and day?to?day support to help them continue enjoying a good quality of life.
About the role:

Providing friendly companionship and emotional support
Assisting with daily household tasks (light cleaning, tidying, meal preparation)
Enjoying light gardening together with Mum
Assisting with simple routines such as:

Helping keep track of tablet medications (planning only)
Cleaning a nebuliser used for lung support


Being a calming and supportive presence throughout the day

About our parents:

One parent has early-stage dementia and benefits greatly from gentle prompts, patience, and companionship
The other parent has lung-related health issues, but only requires use of a nebuliser (no medical care required)

About the household:

They have a friendly Cavoodle, so a genuine love of dogs is essential
The home is warm, welcoming, and respectful

Ideal candidate:

Kind, empathetic, and responsible
Enjoys spending time with older people
Comfortable around dogs
Happy to help around the home and garden
Experience with dementia is helpful but not essential — the right attitude matters most
