Job Description
My husband and I are taking a cruise from July 17 through August 1st in northern Scandinavia. We depart from Rotterdam and we're looking for someone to come with us on the cruise and care for my husband, who is in his 50s and has ALS. Requires active passport that expires later than January 2024. My husband requires a lot of physical support for transfers from wheelchair to toileting and bed, as well as feedings and other necessities. Training would be provided provided prior to trip. Requires experience with managing and administering medication. Managing his clothes, food, meds, etc. Looking for someone to work 12-hour shifts for a negotiable price. Lodging and cruise provided food and drinks paid for. Preferences for a non-smoker and CPR / first-aid trained and someone very strong and willing to lift my husband.
