We are seeking help caring for my mother and grandmother who live with me and my husband. We are flexible with live in/out and number of hours per week. Our primary needs are Monday-Friday during business hours when my husband and I are working. We are also flexible with start date.

The primary tasks they need help with are bathing/grooming, helping them with errands/doctor visits, meal prep, medication reminders/help with taking daily vitals, light cleaning/tidying, and companionship (conversation, playing card games, participating in hobbies/crafting). We are a non-smoking household and have dogs (10 lbs - 40 lbs). Our pets are good tempered and good with people.

My mother has limited mobility and uses a rollator to get around the house. She can transfer in/out of bed and walk on her own. She does need minor help getting in/out of the car, mainly help with her balance. She suffers from chronic pain, arthritis, and is pre-diabetic. She would benefit from help keeping on a daily schedule with grooming/bathing, dressing, daily weigh-in to check for fluid retention, taking her blood sugar each day, and general company/conversation.

My grandmother is 96 and in relatively good health. She would benefit from light help with dressing, help taking her small dog outside for potty breaks (we have a fenced backyard, it is mainly ensuring she doesn't trip or fall trying to let her dog outside), and general help with things like carrying laundry to/from her room, making her bed, etc. She is very spunky and independent and sometimes tries to do too much around the house when my husband and I are working. :) She would also love company/conversation throughout the day.

My Dad also lives with us and is self-sufficient for the time being. He does have Parkinsons and we anticipate he will need more help in future years if we find a great match with someone here. If preparing lunch for my grandmother and mom we would just ask if the caregiver could also make him lunch at the same time, that's it. :)

A little bit about where we live. We are approximately 45 minutes north of Atlanta in a very pretty area of Georgia. We believe we have the best of both worlds here with the major city an hour south, easy access to one of the largest airports in the U.S. (lots of direct flights!) and lots of nature and mountains just 30 minutes to the north of us. We experience all four seasons here with a pretty short winter season.
