I am writing in response to any job available related to my chosen fields. I truly believe that my experiences as a nurse, a home support worker, an occupational therapy assistant with certification; coupled with my skills, make me an ideal candidate for any healthcare job.
I have worked as an RN in Saudi Arabia for approximately 10 years. I was assigned to the Long Stay Female Rehabilitation Unit for five years in the North West Armed Forces King Salman Hospital, Tabuk, Saudi Arabia. Our ward was divided into units with medical and palliative patients, most of whom were cancer patients. I also worked in the Intensive Care Unit for two years, where I handled RTA (road traffic accident) patients, patients on ventilator, acute care for adults and children, COPD, and so much more. I also gained experience working with seniors in my two-year position in the Female Geriatric Ward at As-Salama Hospital, Al-Khobar, Saudi Arabia.
Furthermore, I am skilled in changing ventilator tubing, atrial blood gas extraction, NGT insertion, Foley catheter insertion, ECG checking, and IV nurse in the code blue team. During my time in Saudi Arabia, I was able to share my knowledge training nursing students and educating co-workers by providing in-service training on our unit. I was appointed as equipment team leader during my time in this position.
I love working with my patients and truly find it rewarding to see how my devotion improves the quality of their lives. In addition, I’m skilled at handling patients with personality disorders, bipolar disorder, and schizophrenia, as well as dementia and Alzheimer’s.
I am a licensed nurse in my native country, the Philippines, and also hold a license in Saudi Arabia.
