Dear Host Family,

My name is Nicole, I prefer to be called by my second name Angela. I am 27 years old, from the Philippines. I have a lot of experience with children from a young age, as I have four younger siblings. I have a sibling with autism and this has taught me patience, empathy, adaptability, and the importance of knowing each child’s needs. Caring for my siblings helped me learn what it takes to create a safe, supportive and nurturing environment for children.

Aditionally, I actively volunteer in our church's summer programs preparing children for gradeschool. When I was in highschool I used to work as a nanny after school for a Korean family with two kids.

I wasn't able to finish my degree yet in business and tech. In a professional setting I worked as customer service associate for international clients such as US Cellular for four years. In 2022, I changed career paths and landed a job as a model dealer in a casino. I believe these experiences honed my communication skills, responsibility, organization, and work ethic.

Other than babysitting and career responsibilities, I'm also passionate in music, and arts like painting. Way back in my school years, I was once served as president in our musical organization. I participated actively in such activities like performing arts. I'd love to share these interest with my future host kids.

I speak English fluently. I love learning and adapting to new things such as singing in different languages specifically Japanese, Korean, Spanish, and French. I believe becoming an aupair would be great, and so I look forward to learn your culture as I share mine to you.

I would describe myself as caring, responsible, reliable, and positive. I genuinely love and enjoy my time spent with children. As I've done my research, I'm knowledgeable of an aupair's responsibilities such as preparing kids for school, cooking, and assistance on household chores.
