did my internship at Edith Duly Nursing Home between 26/09/22 – 13/11/22. During this period I gained valuable practical experience in the care of geriatric residents. Activities: ? Provided personal care to residents such as bathing, toileting, dressing, grooming, feeding, oral hygiene, and skin care. ? Assisted with transfers and mobilization of residents using body mechanics and mechanical aids such as walkers and wheelchairs by following the established ADL Care Plan. ? Observed and reported any changes or problems in residents’ condition, such as mobility, temperature, skin integrity, appetite, and behaviour to designated Registered Nurse. ? Ensured safety of residents while performing all tasks and assignments, and reported any adverse events or near-misses to the Supervisor. ? Maintained a clean, safe environment by changing and making beds, sanitizing residents' basins, bedpans, and urinals.
