We're a family of six, with a busy father, a mother who is working 4 days a week and four amazing kids who love to explore, craft, and play games. Our cozy village is nestled on a picturesque hill, just 15 minutes or 15 km by train from Basel, an international city on the border of France and Germany. Basel is known for its arts and culture scene, museums, architecture, and is a lively city with many events and festivals throughout the year.
Living in the Basel area offers many opportunities for exploration and adventure, whether it's hiking in the Mountains, skiing in the Swiss Alps, or visiting the towns and villages along the Rhine river. You'll have access to excellent public transportation, making it easy to travel to neighboring cities and countries, the airport is 45 mins by bus.

Hey you! Will you be our live-in Nanny?
Mainly, we need your help with breakfast and get them ready for school, and 4 afternoons a week, you'll make them lunch, organize their activities, and even cook dinner a few times a week. The 2 smaller ones (4) will be home the whole afternoon, the older ones join around tea time. You'll also assist them with keeping their rooms and laundry in order (although they'll be responsible for doing the tidying of it themselves), encourage them to do their homework and play their instrument. Preferably you come up with ideas for games or crafts to do with them. During school holidays, you tend to them full time 4 days for some weeks.
You'll have at least 3 out of 4 weekends 100% off. And if you want to explore Europe on the weekends, we're more than happy to accommodate an occasional Friday or Monday off. There may be a few evenings when the husband is on a business trip and we'll ask for your support a bit longer, but we'll make sure to give you plenty of notice.
