We are a warm, close-knit family of four in South Burnaby looking for a full-time nanny to join our household. Our previous nanny was with us for three years, and we are looking for someone equally dedicated, nurturing, and genuinely passionate about caring for young children.

About Our Family

We are two working parents — a physician and a business executive — with two young boys, ages 4 and 9 months. We value a calm, predictable home environment and a caregiver who is thoughtful about child development and responsive to each child's individual needs.

The Role

This is a full-time position (Monday–Friday). Your primary responsibility will be the care of our 9-month-old baby boy during the daytime. You will also help our 4-year-old get ready in the morning before daycare, and support him when he returns in the afternoon.

Responsibilities

Helping our 4-year-old with his morning routine before daycare drop-off
Full care of our infant: feeding, diapering, bathing, naps, and age-appropriate play and stimulation
Engaging, responsive interaction to support healthy infant development
Light meal preparation for the baby and preparing snacks for our 4-year-old
Maintaining a safe, nurturing home environment
Warm and patient afternoon support for our preschooler after daycare
What We Are Looking For

Demonstrated experience caring for infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children — this is essential
Warm, patient, and emotionally attuned — someone who genuinely enjoys being present with young children
Reliable, trustworthy, and communicative
Non-smoker
Compensation
