Family's Introduction to Nanny
We are a loving family based in Missouri City, TX. I am a single mom with two children, including my 9-year-old son who is on the autism spectrum. He is bright, curious, and full of energy, and thrives best with structure, patience, and kindness. Our home is welcoming and family-oriented, and we’re looking for someone who will become a trusted part of our household while helping provide stability, care, and support for him day to day.
Job Description
We are seeking a compassionate and reliable live-in nanny to care for our 9-year-old son, who is on the autism spectrum. This role is ideal for someone patient, nurturing, and interested in providing both daily care and light educational support in a structured, loving environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide daily supervision, structure, and emotional support
• Assist with personal care and hygiene routines (guiding and helping him clean himself)
• Support with tutoring and homework, encouraging learning at his pace
• Plan engaging and calming activities suitable for his needs
• Assist with bedtime routine (meals, winding down, putting him to sleep)
• Help him maintain a tidy environment, and clean up after shared activities/meals
• Provide consistency, stability, and a safe environment
Schedule & Living Arrangement:
• Full-time live-in role (room and board included)
• Private bedroom and shared household amenities
• Primary care during after-school hours, evenings, and overnight, with flexibility for weekends Compensation & Benefits:
• $2,000/month stipend
• Free room, board, and utilities
• Comfortable, family-oriented home environment in Missouri City, TX

Ideal Candidate:
• Experience working with children, ideally with autism or special needs
• Patient, calm, and consistent, with good communication skills
• Responsible and organized; able to create routines and follow through
• Comfortable assisting with tutoring, homework, and basic life skills
• CPR/First Aid certified (or willing to obtain)
