My name is Ana and I am from Portugal. I have many years of experience caring for children of different ages and working with children is something I truly enjoy and feel naturally connected to. I am a calm, responsible and patient person, and I always try to create a safe, happy and loving environment for the children I care for.
Over the years I have worked as a nanny for several families, including international families, which helped me become very adaptable and comfortable with different cultures and routines. I am used to daily tasks such as preparing meals, helping with homework, organizing activities, outdoor walks, bath time and bedtime routines. I also love cooking healthy homemade food and, when appropriate, I enjoy involving children in simple and fun kitchen activities.
Families often describe me as warm, trustworthy and attentive. I am organized, reliable and I believe good communication with parents is very important so children feel secure and supported.
In my free time I enjoy cooking, being outdoors, walking by the sea and spending quiet moments with family and friends. I am open minded, flexible and always willing to learn and adapt to each family’s needs and traditions.
At the moment I am looking for a position in Portugal, preferably in the Aveiro district, but I am also open and willing to work in Porto.
