My name is Joyce, currently living in the Philippines.
I bring with me my experiences in:
-Childcare - I've had great experience caring for my niece and nephew, and I can't wait to bring that passion into this new venture!
-Taught Filipino children in a classroom setting
-Taught Chinese children in virtual setting
-Basic cooking skills
-Do households (Trained at home! ?)
I have genuine love and care for kids. I believe that every child is unique so different approaches are necessary to be able to connect to them and help them better.
Reasons why I desire to be an au pair:
-I simply want to live a life with kids (not my own yet ?). Focus on 2-3 kids for now. I want to learn about them and their development, share my caregiving skills and nurturing spirit.
-Learn more from the wisdom of the host parents
-Cultural exchange opportunities
-Personal, social, and professional growth
-It is deeply rewarding and mutually beneficial for both myself as the au pair and for the host family.
I honestly just discovered the world of being an au pair, and I'm all in! This is something I know I can do and would happily do. I am responsible and respectful. I believe in open communication and mutual respect. Even though I'm 27 now, I'm excited to start this journey and dedicate 2-3 years of my life to it. Hope to see and get to know you more soon! ??
