Job Description:
Our family is seeking a skilled and reliable Facility Manager with excellent communication skills in English and Spanish, and preferably German, to oversee the day-to-day operations of our facility. The ideal candidate will ensure the security and smooth functioning of the premises, coordinate with staff and vendors, and maintain high standards of maintenance and organization.
Certifications & Licenses:
• Driver's license
• Criminal Record Certificate
Excellent Communication Skills:
• Fluency in English and Spanish, both written and verbal.
• Proficiency in German, both written and verbal, is preferred.
Other:
• Skilled Craftsmanship
• Good physical condition, discreet behavior, and ability to maintain confidentiality
• Highly reliable and organized
• At least five years of work experience in a similar position
Job Duties / Responsibilities:
• Ensuring the security of the family at all times.
• Managing the facility's day-to-day operations, including collaborating with 2-3 housemaids.
• Coordinating with staff members to ensure smooth guest stays from start to finish.
• Supervising daily housekeeping and maintenance staff to maintain the facility in excellent condition.
• Assigning specialized work to vendors and coordinating tasks to maintain the facility to a high standard (e.g., palm tree cutting, swimming pool technology, facility technology).
• Coordinating with vendors to ensure timely delivery of all event supplies.
• Managing and coordinating small construction sites on the facility.
• Maintaining records of maintenance and repair projects, including work orders, invoices, and other related documentation.
• Keeping an inventory of all furnishings and equipment in the house and ordering replacements when needed.
• Writing weekly work reports and providing updates to the owner.
Working Hours:
• 40 hours a week
• Working hours may vary during holidays and high seasons.
