Domestic Couple - Housekeeper, Cook and Driver

Apartment and car provided. Located near to family. Family home consists of 5 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, 2 storeys. Located in Hossegor, France.

Main Purpose of Job - Housekeeper, Cook and Domestic Helper
1. Governess of the house for all household requirements.
2. Prepare meals and be responsible for household shopping.
3. Take care of children on occasion. Ages 13, 12, 10 years old.

Key Tasks
1. Cleaning, tidying, laundry washing, ironing, putting clothes away, making and changing beds, vacuuming, mopping
- Multiple daily: clean kitchen and dining, laundry duties
- Daily: clean bathroom and toilets, make beds, empty sports bags
- Weekly: whole house clean, mop all floors, tidy kids’ bedrooms
- Bi-weekly: change beds
2. Cooking lunch, dinner and snacks. Shopping for food and household needs
- Example meals: stir fry, pork ribs, curry, vermicelli, fried rice, roast chicken, lasagne, carbonara, macaroni cheese, meatballs, risotto,
quinoa, pies, poke bowls, steak, fish, potato dauphine, roast and mashed potato, deserts, sandwiches, muesli bars, bliss balls, pancakes
- Dietary requirements: 1 adult no carbohydrates, 1 adult vegetarian and no eggs, 1 child no tomatoes, during week limited/no processed sugar
3. Watch children on occasion when the parents go out

Main Purpose of Job – Driver and Domestic Helper
1. Driving - clients to and from destinations and grocery shopping
2. Maintain clean cars performing wash and detailing to valet standard
3. Perform general external and internal housekeeping chores
4. Perform maintenance and light repairs

Key Tasks
1. Driving:
- Arrive at destinations safely and on schedule e.g. school, sports activities, restaurants, train station, airport
- Use navigation applications to determine the best route to known and new destinations
- Research and plan for traffic, construction and weather delays
- Able to drive manual, automatic and different models of car
- Ensure vehicles are clean, always fuelled and ready for use
- Take vehicles for services when arranged by the client
2. Valet cleaning:
- Full vacuum (including entire interior, seats, boot and side pockets)
- Cleaning and buffing of all surfaces and materials, full leather clean, full
interior shampoo clean (of seats, carpets and mats)
- Window cleaning, tyre shine, removal of tar spots and a full exterior polish
3. Housekeeping chores external and internal:
- Daily: each evening secure house by closing shutters, locking windows, garage and bike shed. Tidy exterior, gather kids’ balls, beanbags, bikes away. Maintain orderliness of garage and bike shed. Put rubbish out
- Weekly: large grocery shop, sweep external paths, tidy garage, recycling
- Bi-weekly: mow lawn
- As required: small grocery shop, clean/prepare BBQ, wipe external tables, sweep trampoline, basic errands e.g. trip to dry cleaner, clean and prepare internal fireplace, assist housekeeper e.g. internal vacuuming, mopping, sweeping floor
4. Maintenance and light repairs:
- As required: perform basic maintenance and light repairs around the home

Key Requirements
Driver’s licence, copy of driving record, previous driver experience with references, motivated, attention to detail, able to take direction, flexible, always interacts with clients professionally, shows initiative, basic level of competency e.g. capable of constructing standard IKEA cabinetry.

Hours
- 40hrs per week. Indicative times:
- Monday to Friday: 11am – 7pm
- Saturday & Sunday: Off
* Occasional Friday or Saturday evening required for guests dinner or to stay with children whilst parents go out. Hours worked will be compensated with equivalent hours off during the week.
