Job Description: Detail?Oriented Part?Time Housekeeper
We’re looking for a warm and reliable, Housekeeper to join our Antwerpen household. If you take pride in making every corner sparkle, love spending time perfecting each task, and enjoy helping a busy family stay organized, this role is for you!
Key Responsibilities
* Thorough Cleaning & Polishing
* Dusting, wiping, and polishing kitchen worktops and dining tables until they gleam
* Cleaning inside and outside of cabinets, cupboards, and drawers with care
* Vacuuming and mopping hard floors; spot?treating spills and stains promptly
* Deep?cleaning bathrooms: scrubbing tiles, grout, sinks, showers, toilets, and bathtubs
* Ironing clothes, linens, and household textiles to a crisp, professional standard
* Routine & Deep Maintenance
* Performing weekly or bi?weekly deep cleans in high?traffic areas (bathroom, kitchen, entryway)
* Washing windows, mirrors, and glass surfaces for a streak?free finish
* Checking and maintaining cleaning supplies; notifying us when stock runs low
* Plant Care & Light Gardening
* Watering indoor plants according to their individual needs
* Trimming dead leaves and reporting any plant health issues
* Ensuring exterior planters (terrace or balcony) are tidy and well?maintained
* Grocery Shopping & Errands
* Selecting high?quality fresh produce from farmers’ markets, organic shops, or specialty stores
* Picking out seasonal fruits, vegetables, and pantry staples that meet our family’s dietary preferences
* Running household errands: dry?cleaning drop?off and pick?up, car wash and detailing appointments, post office runs, etc.
* Organizing grocery deliveries or stocking the fridge and pantry neatly upon return
* General Household Support
* Folding, organizing, and putting away laundry
* Assisting with light meal prep or reheating leftovers, when asked
* Reporting any maintenance issues (leaks, broken fixtures, appliance concerns) to the homeowner
