We are seeking a diligent, reliable, and dedicated Housekeeper to join our family in a live-in role in Australia. This position is unique as it not only involves maintaining the cleanliness and orderly state of our home but also requires a candidate who is comfortable and experienced working in environments where children are present. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a dedication to maintaining high standards of cleanliness, and prior experience in hotel housekeeping. Key Responsibilities:
- Perform a variety of cleaning activities such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and polishing to ensure all rooms are cared for and inspected according to high standards.
- Ensure a safe, clean, and inviting environment for the family, especially in areas frequented by children.
- Protect equipment and make sure there are no inadequacies.
Notify superiors on any damages, deficits, and disturbances.
- Handle reasonable complaints/requests with professionalism and patience.
- Check stocking levels of all consumables and replace when appropriate.
- Adhere strictly to rules regarding health and safety and be aware of any company-related practices.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a cleaner or housekeeper, with a preference for candidates with hotel housekeeping experience.
- Ability to work with little supervision and maintain a high level of performance.
- Customer-oriented and friendly, comfortable working in a home with children.
- Prioritization and time management skills, able to work quickly without compromising quality.
- Proficiency in the English language.
- A high school degree.
