We are a family of 4, as vicar to the parish, life is busy with plenty going on in the villages. We need help so that we can manage with the demands of 2 children 8 and 10 who are autistic along with, a busy parish and my wife’s recovery from a major stroke in July ( there will be no requirement for care as the nursing team is responsible for this).
We live in the Rectory next to the church, a large house and garden in the heart of the village and your own room is assured. There is fast internet and the successful candidate will have a car for their use, gym membership. TV and satellite with all streaming services included. We have the option to put up family and friends close by free of charge for short stays or holidays. Equally you can have use of our touring caravan towed and pitched for your holiday weeks.
We live in a village on the outskirts of Birmingham with easy access to the motorway network, BHX airport and rail connections from Birmingham international. Literally we are at the heart of the country. Birmingham city centre is 20 mins away as is Coventry. London is 60 mins away by train.
We enjoy crafts, sport, walking, cycling, European holidays, church, games, music, Lego, gardening, dance, musical theatre, swimming, acting, community events, food, caravanning, cubs and guides.
Your duties will include getting eady for school, light housework, children entertaining, pick ups, drop off, babysitting, meal times, wash times, play dates, park visits. £110 + added benefits, possibility of other paid work. We would like you to be able to supervise the children at church when I am taking the service.
The Rectory is a busy place we are at the heart of the community and we can offer a loving vibrant family embedded in the community. We operate on the Christian principle of hospitality. Both adults hold enhanced DBS certificates. Someone who is sympathetic to Christian faith.
