We are an energetic family of 5 with a lively household. Our children are 6, 4 and 2 and we’re looking for someone who will primarily be helping out before and after school. We like to enjoy the outdoors, walks, hiking, skiing, the children also love swimming, games, crafts. Both parents work, sometimes at home and sometimes in the office and so one of us will often be working and present in the house.
We are looking for someone who has a bit of childcare experience. We will support you and are very happy to teach the ropes but ideally you would have a love of younger children, and some experience with them too.
We lived in France for the last 2 years so we’re keen to find a French speaker to ensure the children don’t forget everything they’ve learned!

We are looking for a French speaker to join our family in Oxfordshire from September. We live outside Abingdon, 25 mins drive or 12 minute train to Oxford and within east reach of London.
All our children will be in school or nursery so you’ll be helping each day to get them to school and helping with pick up at the end of the day, and playing or helping with homework. Your weekends will be entirely your own to follow your interests and explore the local area or further afield. We will also travel to the alps in the school holidays and would like you to join us.
We have 3 very energetic children and you need to be happy with a lively household! It’s best if you’re a driver so you can get around the local area.
Sadly EU nationals cannot get visas to the UK to work as an au pair so you must either have UK pre-settled status or be a citizen of one of the countries eligible for a youth mobility visa.
