Our son is receiving speech and occupational therapy, and we are hoping to find someone who can support him with his daily routines and assist with developmental activities at home. He needs someone who understands sensory sensitivities and is open to learning how to support him through simple communication tools like visuals, gestures, or routines.

• Can follow structured routines and collaborate with us and his therapists
• Speaks English (basic to good level – fluency is a plus)
• Has a gentle personality and is emotionally steady
Job Description
We are looking for a patient, compassionate, and experienced nanny or caregiver to support a 5-year-old child diagnosed with autism and global developmental delay. The child is non-verbal and requires structured care, attention, and understanding of sensory needs.
Responsibilities:
• Provide daily care and supervision in a calm and nurturing environment
• Assist with feeding, dressing, and hygiene routines
• Engage the child in age-appropriate, sensory-friendly activities
• Support therapy goals under the guidance of speech/occupational therapists
• Use visual aids or basic communication systems (PECS, gestures, etc.)
• Help manage emotional or sensory challenges gently and safely
• Communicate regularly with parents about the child’s progress and needs
Qualifications:
• Prior experience caring for children with autism or special needs
• Training in ABA, special education, or developmental disorders is a plus
• English-speaking (basic to fluent)
• Loving, calm, and patient personality
• Willing to learn and follow therapeutic instructions
• Must be physically fit and emotionally stable
