We live in a lovely house with a big garden in a cul de sac in a quiet residential neighbourhood with access to a beautiful forest where we bike and walk regularly. Everything is within walking distance, including the RER line E train station, shops etc.
I am an architect and a super project manager at Disneyland Paris. I am a single parent as my beloved wife, a Ph.D./scientist, recently passed away after a long battle with cancer. I am looking for an Au Pair to help me care for my two boys: a two and a six-year-old. I am looking to hire asap. We will only consider candidates from/residing in Europe/France who can communicate in French and want to live there for at least a year.

My two-year-old boy has a nanny and attends childcare daily (8.30 to 5) except on weekends. I am keeping that as is for continuity.
My six-year-old boy goes to school on weekdays except Wednesdays, and most of the time has lunch at school.
I work from 9-7 weekdays, with the option to telecommute when required. The house is 20 min away from Disneyland Paris.
You will have the house for yourself from 8.30 -11.30 and 1.30 to 4.30 on Wednesdays, and 8.30 to 4.30 on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays.
Duties include:
1-Helping get the children ready in the morning, preparing breakfast and sometimes taking them to school and childcare. Both locations are a 5 min walk from the house.
2- Prepare lunch (when required) and dinner
3- Housekeeping activities, including laundry
4- You may have to help with groceries
5- Accompany the children from school and daycare at 4.45 and 5 pm, all within 5 min walking distance
6- Give the six years old his snack, play with the two-year-old, bath him and feed him no later than 6.30 - 7 pm
7- Prepare dinner and set the table at 8:00 pm
I will read them stories, put them to bed, and be there for dinner. I am usually at home at 6.30 or 7 pm.
You will have a beautiful room with internet access, a window, desk, bed, bedside table, closet, mirror, and enough storage space. The room is in the house but allows for privacy. The door locks and has a key.
I will happily provide a video and pictures of your room and the house. Before we finalize the hiring process, I must check your references; we will execute a contract and a code of conduct.
I have an excellent relationship with my children, as I was the mom and dad for the past two years; I maintained a positive environment for my kids, so a good fit is essential to preserve our harmony and a positive environment.
