Hello, we are Cyrielle and David, parents of 5 years old Swann.
We live in Ferney-Voltaire, France, a small town at the border of Geneva, Switzerland. We are looking for an au pair to join us asap.
We just came back from 3 years living in Dubai, so having an au pair seems great to us in order to keep the multiple languages and multiculturalism that we loved there.
Our small town is only 20 minutes away from Geneva, in Switzerland, and we often travel to Paris and the south of France (Marseille and Aix en Provence) to visit our family. We would be happy to take the au pair with us on these trips for her/him to discover France.

The main duty would be child care, picking up our son from school and staying with him until we're back from work. During this time, activities would include going to the park, reading books, helping him with school homework, playing, and giving him dinner.
Working hours would be 4pm to around 7pm on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays, and a full day (8am to 7pm) on Wednesdays as there is no school. We will also ask for either babysitting one evening or a few hours in the morning or afternoon on Saturdays. We will share and agree on the schedule each week in advance, and globally it will always remain between 25 and 30 hours per week.
In terms of housework, it will be minimal, just a participation like the rest of the family.
In terms of languages spoken we would like the au pair to speak English to our son, and we would also be happy to slowly introduce another language. On our side we would like to help the au pair progress in French, through daily conversations and lessons which we will pay for.
Driving is required as te au pair will need to take our son to some activities on Wednesdays. (We have an automatic car).
We offer a salary of 350€ per month (plus payment for French lessons).
