We live in a small town in the country side near from Paris. We have a big house with a garden.
I'm the owner of a pharmacy and Maxime works as an economist for a building constructor company.
We are interested in travel, new cultures and made a world trip in 2018 before discovering our new life as parents!
We really enjoy the time spending in family (evenings or weekends) that means the world for us! We appreciate to share the meals together, make trips, BBQs in summer, meeting our family or friends, make a walk through Paris or hiking everywhere!
We try to be a little concerned by our environment and make efforts to use ecologic alternatives.
I love to cook and Max is a real handyman!
Maxime's family lives near from the northern French coast in Picardie and my family lives in a small town in the south-west of France: in Limoges. So we visit them all, time to time, during the year and if you want so, you'll be welcomed to come with us!
We live in a big 4 bedrooms house. You will, of course, have your own nice bedroom in the house and share the bathroom with the children. Soon we'll have 6 bedrooms as there will be renovations on the 2nd floor: Then you'll have your private bedroom and bathroom/restroom.
We have a garden which is very pleasant specially during the summer for BBQs or the inflatable spa!
If you prefer to live out, we can potentially provide you a flat in the city center.
We don't have TV (but can provide you one if it's something important for you) and our children are limited in the amount of screen time (on our smartphones or computer for a movie for example) as we prefer them to make activities, craft, read a book, paint or go outside!

Our house is located in the city of Dreux, which has a lovely historic city center with the Royal Domain of Dreux and all you need (shops, restaurants, cinema, ice rink, library, theater, swimming pool etc). If you love nature, there is a big forest and a lake 10min away from our home. If you like, you can easily find a equestrian center near the city.
Dreux is really close to Paris (more or less than 1h by train or car): you can easily reach to Versailles in 45 min (beautifull city with the Versailles castle, a big mall and a beautifull forest) for a picnic in the castle's parc, or quite simply go to the Eiffel Tower or the Notre Dame cathedral in 1h15.
Our city is also really close to the Normandy coast (1h30 to Deauville or Honfleur, Etretat etc) where you can find either beautifull beaches or hikes!
We will provide you a car that can be used for private trips to Paris, to the coast or anywhere elsa you will plan to go during your time off.
During the week we both are working hard! So when it's time off, we really enjoy to stay together!!
We mostly are not staying at home as we are less than 1h from Paris and less than 2h from the beach.
We also love to visit our family in different parts of France! (Picardie (North) for Maxime and Limousin (Souhth-West) for me)
We love sports (skiing, running, hiking, etc.) and we just love to discover around! We love music (Celeste and Garance always dance as soon as they hear a few notes), baking and cooking!

Dear Au Pair,
We are a French family with 3 lovely children: Céleste almost 4, Garance 2 and Antonin only 1 month.
We think we are happy, friendly and easygoing! We really enjoy life and like to try new experiences.
I (Elsa) am a pharmacist, Maxime (the father) is economist and we both work during the week. We search an Au Pair to share our lives and our culture and of course to help us taking care of our children!
Céleste goes to preschool, Garance and Antonin are too young and they stay at home.
I work at the pharmacy attached to the house and Max works from 8am-12 then 2pm-6pm.
We try to spend as much time as we can with the children in the evenings and during the week-ends.
Our children are limited in the amount of screen time as we prefer them to make activities, craft, read a book, paint or go outside!
I prefer to cook all our meals, we have a farm near the house where we go to pick our vegetables. I make my own cans, and we prefer our baby (Antonin) to eat home made food than baby pots.
We need someone to help us during our work time with the stimulation/development of our children. As we don't want them to watch screens we try to find games that enhance the senses adapted to each stage of them growth. So we are looking for an Au Pair who enjoy activities like crafts, painting, drawing, cooking, music, outdoor...
We really would love that you establish stimulating play times with them. Of course we ask you to be very carefull that smartphone is not too present.
We really expect our Au Pair to be part of our family (as the 6th member!) and feel like home, sharing our daily routine (like meals, evenings, conversations, birthday etc) or some road trips with us as a member of our family. We would love this opportunity to be looked upon as a life experience and not a job. We are looking for someone responsible and reliable, open-minded and positive.
You must have a valid driving license, have driving experience and be comfortable driving a manual car. If you're first aid trained it's a plus! :)
Our Au Pair will work 30h/week and we think 500 euros salary per month seems great.
You will mostly drop off/pick up Céleste at school and spend time with Garance and Antonin until Max arrive from work.
Your time off will be Monday morning, Wednesday (all day) and every week-end (saturday and sunday).
Moreover we are looking forward our children to learn English really early so we prefer you to speak exclusively in English with them. And as we both think that we are all here to share something: Time, experiences, stories, languages and make some new memories we will encourage you to speak French with us and will help you to improve your skills! That's really important for us that our children will be surrounded with an other culture!
We will ask you to cook for the children or to help us with light housework.
We don't expect you to work during the weekend and if we are going on a road trip we'll invite you to join us!
