We are a Danish/American family with two energetic, fun-loving, sweet kids aged 8 (son) and 5 (daughter), seeking a live-out nanny.
The job is to pick up the children 2-3 days a week from kindergarden and school, bring them home, and take care of them/engage them for a couple of hours. Together with another babysitter, you would cover Monday through Thursday, the exact days will be determined together with the other babysitter, so the four days are covered most weeks.
Working hours would typically be 16:00 (pickup of first child) to 19:00 (our dinner time). The tasks include taking care of them, helping keep play areas tidy, ensuring our son does his homework and chores, and assisting with folding and putting away clean laundry for our daughter.
From a personality perspective, we prefer someone who is high energy, strong empathy, enjoys reading, and nurturing their intellect particularly maintaining native English language skills. Both children are fluent in both Danish and English.
We have a preference for candidates from EU or who have Danish or English as a mother tongue, and who are already based in Denmark.
