Family's Introduction to Au Pair
My husband and I both work Monday - Friday so would be looking for care from the hours of around 600am and finish time would vary each day. We have a regular routine for both boys.
Our eldest son wakes around 630, has activities on Monday and Tuesday with kindy Wednesday-Friday. This routine will only be relevant through to the end of the year. Next year (2026) at the end of January, he will start school 5 days per week so will require drop off and pick up from school with support to complete homework and get to after school activities.
Our youngest son wakes around 7am and has a 2 hour nap in the middle of the day. He will attend daycare on Thursday and Friday.
We eat dinner as a family around 530-6pm everyday and would like you to join us when you are home and if you don’t have plans.
On weekends, you will be able to have your own time. If you wish to join us for some outings, that would be ok.

Monday to Wednesday would be 600 until 500pm with our youngest son, and 600 until 900 am drop off to kindy for eldest son including picking him up around 4pm.
Thursday - both boys will go to daycare/kindy so would require 600 until 830am drop off. Pick up of both kids after kindy/daycare around 4pm.
Friday - both boys will go to daycare/kindy so would require 600 until 830am drop off. My husband and I will pick up both boys so you can have the weekend from around 830am on a Friday morning.
During the days you have our youngest, we will be wanting you to look after our son by ensuring he is fed and has his sleep during the day. We will be wanting him to have outings to the park and other play activities that we will be happy to work with you to organise.

As a family, we love getting outdoors and to the beach. We really enjoy traveling and have been taking our sons around different areas of Australia since they were born.
We are an experienced family with au pairs - we have had 4 au pairs all of who have stayed for 7 months or longer.
We are looking for our next au pair to join us mid to late November and stay for 6-12 months.
Both my husband and I are engineers. I am an operations manager in the gas industry and my husband is a general manager in the mining industry.
