Hello! We are the Schoonmaker Family. I am Stacy and my husband is Lee. We grew up in NY and re-located to the Bay Area (Saratoga) for company reasons 4 years ago. We have (3) wonderful boys - Joey (17 ); Liam (9); Ollie (almost 5) and a mini-labradoodle named Bear (12 pounds but thinks he is a full size Bear!)

Joey is a typical teenager - l loves to play video games, football and Basketball. Liam is the middle child - and he is extremely smart (loves math). He loves to talk, play games, swim and do gymnastics. He also loves to make the dog crazy! Liam is now in 4th grade Ollie is our 4 year old affectionate and loving boy; that loves art, coloring, swimming and anything outdoors. He is on the Autism Spectrum - with expressive speech delay; and therefore goes to TK (transitional kindergarten) and Behavioral and Speech Therapy. Both Lee and I work full time during the week. We have hybrid work calendars - 2-3 days a week in the office and the rest at home.

We have hosted 4 au pairs and each of them has become part of our family. We are great people, very flexible and understanding - finding our next aupair that love our children is of utmost importance to us.

Our next aupair has to be an experienced driver. This is very important. They should be flexible as our schedules change and should be ready to jump in and help where needed. The day is broken up. From 7:30 - 8:30 it is around getting the kids up, ready for school, light house work and driving them. Free until 2pm to pick up Ollie from school; bring to activities, therapy and bring home. Work 12-7:30 Most of the time for the older kids this involves making dinner (we are not good cooks!), and for Ollie it includes activities, dinner, and bath.
