Family's Introduction to Au Pair
We have 3 children, Maddie (age 13), Mason (age 9), and Lucas (age 8). We live in San Mateo, California, which is about 15 miles south of San Francisco. I am a school literacy teacher and my husband is a doctor.
Our children attend a Spanish Immersion school near our home, which means that they spend most of their school day learning in Spanish. We are looking for someone to help them continue to learn and use Spanish, help them with homework and have fun with them!
My husband and I speak English and communicate in English. We also have an adult school which has daily English classes that you can take and they are free while you are living with us.
We want to find someone who has daily driving experience (driving is a big part of our au pairs responsibility) and someone who is energetic, both our boys are pretty active! Our children love to play at the park and ride their bikes and scooters. They also love to read (and be read to) and to draw and color (it's one of their favorite things to do at home). They love to build with Legos and do crafts, such as bracelet making, and they have even learned to crochet.
