We are a friendly and caring family, excited to start this new chapter in our lives. We are expecting our first child at the end of June 2025, and we would love to have an au pair join us around that time.

A little about us: My name is Swati, and I am Indian. My husband, Andrew, is Middle Eastern. We both value family, culture, and creating a warm, supportive home. Andrew works from home, which allows him to be present and involved with our growing family. I work as a dermatologist, so my schedule can sometimes be busy, but we always make time for each other and our loved ones.

We also have a dog named Finn. He is a friendly, playful golden doodle who loves people and enjoys being part of the family. He is gentle and great with children, so we are confident he will be a wonderful companion for our baby and our future au pair.

We are looking for an au pair who will not only help care for our baby but also become part of our family. We would love someone who is kind, responsible, clean, good with babies, and trained in CPR or other basic emergency care. Our ideal au pair would be someone who is open to learning about our cultures while sharing their own.

We live in San Diego, California, in a safe and beautiful neighborhood with plenty of parks and family-friendly activities nearby. Our home is welcoming, with a private room and bathroom available for our au pair. We want this to be a positive and enriching experience for both our au pair and our family.

Role Description:

We are looking for a responsible, kind, and energetic au pair to help care for our [number] child(ren) [ages]. Your role will primarily involve childcare duties, light household tasks, and engaging activities that promote learning and fun.?
Responsibilities:
* Providing daily care for our child, including meals, playtime, and naps.
* Preparing and serving vegan meals and snacks for the child.
* Engaging in fun, creative, and educational activities such as arts and crafts, reading, and outdoor play.
* Assisting with bath time and bedtime routines.
* Helping with light household tasks related to the child, such as tidying toys, washing dishes used for meals, baby laundry, and organizing play areas.
* School drop-offs and pickups if applicable.
* Encouraging positive behavior and emotional development.
* Occasional babysitting in the evening, to be discussed in advance.?
Requirements:
* Experience with children, whether formal or informal, such as babysitting, tutoring, or working in childcare.
* A genuine love for kids and an ability to engage with them positively.
* Non-smoker and drug-free.
* A driver’s license and a good driving record preferred but not mandatory.
* Comfortable living in a vegan household. You do not have to be vegan, but we request that no non-vegan food be brought into the house.
* Basic English skills or willingness to improve if English is not your first language.
* A sense of adventure and willingness to explore life in California with our family.?
