Greetings from the Smith family! We are a Christian household based in a beautiful city in Florida known for its stunning beaches, and we are excited about the opportunity to welcome you into our home and hearts.
At the core of our family are our values of faith, kindness, and open communication. We have three children: a pair of active and fun-loving (almost 1 year old) twin boys and our oldest son (6 years old), who is not only smart but also likes to learn about different cultures.
Living in our city offers the best of suburban and natural beauty, and we can't wait for you to explore and enjoy it with us. We have a historical downtown, a lot of parks and festivals, and wonderful outdoor opportunities. We also live within a couple of hours of several large, urban cities known for international attractions, diverse cultural experiences, and exciting events.
We see the au pair experience as a rich cultural exchange. We're committed to making you feel welcome and valued as a member of our family. Our hope is that your time with us will be as enriching and enjoyable for you as we know it will be for us.

Our schedule is flexible and we can work individually, but typically it would look something like 8 or 9am to 5 or 6 pm on week days. We would like to have one evening a week for a date so that might be a longer day or a later morning start. We have weekend activities sometimes and we don't always bring the twins or the kids, so we would want to trade hours- a week day afternoon or morning off for the weekend coverage. We are flexible with out how schedule out the hours.
No middle-of-the-night requirements
No driving requirements
Childcare responsibilities: helping with feeding, bathing, nap and playtime with the twins. They are on a schedule. Right now, they wake at 7am, eat, play, nap and then up and eat again around 11am, play and nap in the afternoon, and then eat play bathe at 6:30pm and in the cribs at 7pm. They sleep through the night (hooray!).
Our older son gets out of school around 3pm. He is very easy. He might need a reminder to do homework and helping him read the instructions, but he can do it independently. Playing creative games or activities with him would be great! We will provide all transportation for him. Teaching our son about your culture and teaching him your language is a bonus!
Meal preparation: preparing meals for the twins and helping our son pack his lunch. They are not on special diets. Helping our family cook or prepare dinner at least one time a week.
Light housekeeping: Cleaning the twins room, not the 6 year old's room. That is his responsibility. Tidying up and dusting the main living area where the twins hangout. Cleaning the kitchen after use. The kids laundry and bed/crib sheets.
