Hello! We are a family that strives for kindness, humor, and love above all else. We are looking for someone who shares our values.

We are a family of 5 including father Dylan (41), mother Melissa (39), daughter Paloma (11), and sons Michael and Jack (7 & 6). We have 2 dogs. We live in Richardson, Texas which is very close to Dallas. We are not a family that is very rigid or traditional and we try to teach our children that love, kindness, and respect for all people is the most important thing of all. We lived overseas in Australia for several years so we are open minded about other places and like to travel. Myself and Paloma speak Spanish relatively well but we tend to speak English 99% of the time at home.

We had an American Au Pair while we were in Australia who we are still friendly with and who still babysits our children occasionally since she lives close to us in the USA now. It was a great experience and we hope to replicate it.

You would have your own bedroom with a 50" TV, high speed internet, and your own car. We would also supply cell phone service and of course all meals and food. We would expect about 25-30 hours per week of work, about half of which would be child care after school for the kids with some housekeeping during the day. We would pay $300/week. You would not be expected to work weekends or evenings.

Overall we find it very important to treat our babysitters or au pairs fairly and to strike the right balance between being an extended family member but also an employee who deserves to be treated justly. We would never want to take advantage or expect too much from an au pair.
