Aga, Connor & Kai ?

We are a small, conscious family — Aga, Connor, and our joyful 1-year-old son, Kai — living between Costa Rica and Colorado. This fall, we’ll be spending two months (September–October) in a remote, off-grid cabin in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado, and we’re looking for a caring, grounded au pair to join us during that time.

? What We’re Offering:
• Private room in a beautiful, peaceful mountain cabin
• All meals provided (organic, whole-food based)
• $200/week stipend
• Access to hot tub, ATVs, and miles of hiking trails
• Time to rest, enjoy nature, and experience off-grid mountain living
• A warm, communicative family who values presence, respect, and connection

? Your Main Responsibilities:
• Caring for Kai, our 1-year-old, during the day (generally 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM with breaks). The hours are not strict. Kai still has two naps, I breastfeed on demand and we make sure we don’t go over an hour or two without seeing him.
• Engaging with him through play, walks, outdoor time, and simple activities
• Changing diapers and offering him the potty regularly (we practice gentle elimination communication)
• Preparing and offering his meals/snacks (we follow a nourishing, whole-food approach)
• Ensuring his safety and supporting his natural rhythms
• Light help around the house, including:
• Cleaning up after meals and play
• Helping with simple meal prep (e.g. chopping vegetables, tidying the kitchen)
• Supporting us in keeping the shared space warm, tidy, and calm

We are always around, working from home, and deeply involved in Kai’s care. This is a collaborative, hands-on household — not a drop-off situation. Kai is an easy-going, active, and sweet child who loves nature, music, and movement.

? What We’re Looking For:
• An au pair that is able to travel here easily (tourist visa ok)
• Someone loving, responsible, and present — who truly enjoys being with babies
• A calm, confident energy who’s able to handle a bit of off-grid living with flexibility and joy
• Comfortable living in a remote, quiet setting (the nearest town is about 40 minutes away)
