Hello,
We are a family of 5 living in a beautiful town of Poolesville, around 40 mins of Washington DC. We need an au pair who would love to become a part of our family. We mostly need help with our 15 month old boy, his name is Alem. While both me and my husband are working, we need someone to take care of Alem, make sure he is safe, fed and happy. I don't feel safe sending him to a daycare, with the covid situation. My older kids are independent, but they would also need attention and care as they are young and we don't have much family around. We would also love to have an au pair living with us and give her the best experience we can.

We are trying to maintain a healthy lifestyle, we like hiking, going to the beach and to see different places as much as we can during the weekends. But the weekdays are pretty much structured and we like to keep up with the schedule that we have. In the morning we feed our boys with the breakfast and then drive them to school as we live not far enough for the bus to pick them up. The youngest one usually requires a separate breakfast as he is allergic to dairy and eggs. I usually do cereal and some kind of fruit. If the weather is nice we try to go out to the playground at least once a day, or do some indoor activities. I like to prepare food by myself, but may need occasional help with this and that depends on my how busy they day is at work. I usually give him a snack before the nap, but after the nap he needs a meal. Boys come around 3.30. They have their classes and activities after school and they need a meal around 5.
I finish my work around 4-5 and I try to go out for a walk with all of them, but sometimes need to do shopping and other errands.
Having a smooth day requires some preparation and thought process and planning. I have that but will need a person who is fully alligned and would support me in that. Flexibility is also very important. On our side we promise kind attitude and understanding. We would love to have one more family member who would be willing to go through they journey with us.
