Three young and energetic kids in Kansas need a creative and caring au pair. We take frequent trips to the family farm (building a campground in the woods), seasonal trips to Colorado (skiing and snowboarding in the winter and rafting in the summer), and yearly trips to Massachusetts (visiting family). Our au pair will join us for these trips and experience more than just one location in the United
States. Generous compensation is available, as well as being treated like family for birthdays and holidays. Some weeks may require more work (never more than the maximum allowed by law), and some may require less work. When less work is required, our au pair will be free to explore the area, make friends, and pursue their own interests. Cell phone and car can be provided by the host family, in addition to the weekly stipend, as part of a compensation package. Duties will include getting the children ready for school in the morning and supervising them in the afternoons and evenings for homework and playtime, and as an extra set of hands for weekend family activities and vacations. During supervised time, the au pair is expected to share their culture, food, and language with the children. Some transportation will be required across town, usually a 10-15 minute drive.
