Moms name is Amanda. She is a nurse and entrepreneur. Daughter is Lilly, she is 16 and enjoys drawing, doing hair, makeup and nails, playing with slime, and loud music. We think we have a pretty nice set up here with an apartment separate to us to allow you more privacy and personal space. We also think we can be pretty fun, although Lilly a bit picky and can be really demanding at times, that is just part of our autism life ????? We get by with a little help from our friends ?? let us know if your interested in being our new friend and helper!

Mom is a nurse at nearby hospital. Daughter is 16 but functions at level of a 6 year old due to severe autism. Attends special needs school full time year round. We own a duplex, with two bed rooms in each apartment. Mom and daughter share an apartment. You would get a room in the other apartment and the second room in your apartment is rented to travel nurses or student doctors from the hospital where mom works. Even though you will have access to the kitchen in the upstairs apartment, if you are a single person, you are welcome to share meals with host family. In addition to room and board you will be given a $150 a week stipend for misc needs. Mom works 3 night shifts a week. From 6pm to 9am. You will be expected to provide child care during those hours (child typically falls asleep by 1am) There will be expectation of cooking 2 meals a week (we will provide all groceries of course and on the 3rd night of child care each week mom will buy pizza or other take out food for whole family including you (: ), and of light cleaning on the nights you are providing
childcare, and cleaning of your own apartment and living space.
