We are a loving family with a golden retriever. We live in a quaint beach town near San Francisco (30-40 min drive). We enjoy food, karaoke, and have a relaxing backyard with a sauna. Our dog is basically our first child and we've spoiled her but she's worth it. We love the outdoors, we walk our dog daily on the beach. This household consists of an introvert (her) and an extrovert (him) that found each other in a perfect balance.
We want to offer the best care to our child with a person that can dedicate their attention to our baby from the comfort of our house. We pride ourselves in being excellent hosts.
We are both working full-time, one with a home office and the other goes to the office 3 days a week. We are a family that generally makes plans ahead of time. We like to communicate openly. We are independent people so we understand boundaries well.

We are looking for full time care of our infant child (starting around 6months until ~18months). This includes feeding, diaper change, occasionally bath time, taking her out on walks, playing, reading, putting to sleep. Preparing and cleaning up her food as needed is part of the job description. Laundry for baby items is not expected.
Our house has an outdoor sauna with full privacy. The bedroom dedicated to our au pair has beautiful natural light and looks out the backyard with lots of green. It shares the bathroom with the baby room so technically it's an en suite bathroom with a bathtub.
We love food and we cook at home on weekdays (lunch and dinner). The house is located in a great neighborhood with friendly neighbors and a lovely overall community. It is also near a major city (San Francisco) for even more activities.
The town has lots of restaurants and little shops and lots of areas for hiking, cycling and walking. Access to many beaches and surfing lessons. The downtown is walkable distance from the house (20-30 mins) and there is a bike lane. San Francisco is a 30-40 min drive, where there's so many things to do from art/museums, to theater/concerts, to culinary experiences and bars/clubs.
